Terms of Service & Liability

By purchasing a membership or class pack at Align Yoga & Pilates, you agree to our automated billing system via Mariana Tek and the following terms designed for our Union City sanctuary.
1. Membership & Billing
- Auto-Renew: Unlimited memberships are on a month-to-month auto-renew basis.
- Cancellation: To cancel a membership, a 30-day written notice via email is required to info@alignstudiounioncity.com.
- Refunds: All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for class packs, memberships, or retail items.
- Right to Cancel: Under the California Health Studio Act, you have the right to cancel this agreement within three (3) business days of signing for a full refund.
2. Studio Attendance & Safety
- Arrival: Please arrive 5-10 minutes early. To preserve the flow of the session and for your safety, late entry is not permitted 5 minutes after class start time.
- Grip Socks: For hygiene and equipment safety, high-grip socks are strictly required for ALL classes (Yoga and Pilates). Standard socks or bare feet are not permitted on the studio floor or equipment.
- Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 16 years of age. Minors under 18 require a parent or guardian’s signature on the physical waiver.
3. Liability Waiver & Medical Release
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. Participation in Yoga or Pilates involves physical exertion and the risk of injury, including risks associated with the use of specialized equipment such as Pilates Reformers, springs, straps, and automated recovery beds (e.g., the Align Recovery Bed). By using our studio and amenities, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with such activities.
Pregnancy & Injuries: If you are pregnant, post-surgery, or under medical care, you must provide a physician’s clearance and notify your instructor before class or amenity use begins. You hereby release, waive, and covenant not to sue Align Yoga & Pilates for injuries occurring on the premises at 33501 Western Ave.
4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We operate a strict 12-Hour Cancellation Policy due to our boutique capacity.
- Late Cancellation: If you cancel within 12 hours of the class start time, you will forfeit that class credit.
- Unlimited Members: Members on an Unlimited Plan will be charged a $15 Late Cancel Fee or a $20 No-Show Fee for missed reservations.
- Waitlist: It is your responsibility to check your waitlist status; if moved into class, you are considered "booked".
5. Recovery & Amenity Booking
Our **Align Recovery Bed** is available as an add-on service, a standalone credit purchase, or via specific membership perks.
- Booking Required: All recovery sessions must be booked in advance. Walk-ins are strictly subject to availability.
- Cancellation & No-Show: The standard strict 12-Hour Cancellation Policy applies to all amenity bookings. If you cancel within 12 hours of your session, or fail to show up, you will automatically forfeit that session credit.
- Usage: Clients may remain fully clothed in comfortable workout attire during the session.
6. Privacy & Media Release
- Media: Align Yoga & Pilates may capture photography or video for promotional purposes. By attending class, you consent to your likeness being used in marketing materials.
- Data Protection: We use Mariana Tek for secure data storage. Your personal information is used solely for studio operations.
